Black & Decker 92E Heavy-Duty Industrial 7" Sander Review & Service

Nice old sander with a funky push button power switch, very well built and plenty of power at 9 amps 4250 rpm, a good sanding speed which is faster then a polisher but slower then a angle grinder.
Great Neck Tools Race To The Bottom... Low Grade Wrenches Review...

The Best Power Tool Speed Controller, Vevor 20 Amp VariAC
Переглядів 62014 годин тому
This is a well priced and decent build quality variable AC transformer with a little voltage display, it is 2000VA and should be able to handle even 15 amp power tools and provides very fine voltage control while still delivering a smooth sine wave so tools run quieter and cooler when using one of these versus the little electronic speed control boxes. amzn.to/3z6IzYW

Craftsman Commercial USA 4" Panel/Laminate/Trim Saw Review & Service/Discussion

This is a neat saw but a bit wide for the limited amount of power, it uses a 1/2" Arbor and blades can still be found for it. It is a high 7,000 rpm saw for cutting pegboard and other thinner materials up to 3/4" thick. Craftsman 315.11890

That last specialty socket appears to be a spanner socket. I see spanner nuts from time to time on aircraft in certain Boeing center pedestals and huge ones on widebody airbus flap actuators. If you didnt have the right socket it was hammer and chisel for you. Love these vids!

I have a tool similar to your "mystery chuck". Mine has a hex on the back of the body and on the drive adapter section. It is for removing stripped and snapped bolts and studs. Maybe yours is for working studs, for instance on exhaust manifolds?

Im so glad you made this Video.. 👍👍 (from🇦🇺) My 89series failed after a year and Stanley do not sell spare parts. Stanley want you to bury their rubbish along with your garbage after they have robbed you. I 100% agree "this is Consumer Fraud" and Not good for our Planet .. Stanely are Corporate crooks... IMO Mine still looks like new and is a shame to throw it out... People should NOT buy Stanely Ratchets. It should be illegal for retailers to sell them ...

We have both and of the two, I like the Makita a bit more only because the gear change is easier and it's a hair lighter. One thing the Makita also has is a built in clutch I believe. I was using mine a while back and the bit was binding up fever so often. The drill motor would keep turning, but the bit stopped. I was worried at first, but kept on and finished up. Looking it up on the Internet Archive, an old catalog from 1985 mentioned an internal torque limiter. Makita's newest iteration of the drill actually advertises a clutch. So, I guess that's a third reason to like it over the Milwaukee?

Very heavy duty. This was the precursor to their "WildCat" grinders. This model was made in the late 1960's or early 1970's. By the mid 1970's, these had plastic handles and were referred to as WildCats.

For mobile technicians these multifunction tools from Vaco and Xcelite were the go-to tools, but I never thought they were high quality, just kind of pricey specialty tools. A trip to Sears and a hardware store for a look to see if there was something else better before buying. What happened to Diamond?
